Busy Hands, Big Plans — Getting Ready for Our First Fall Show 🎉
Share
It’s crunch time in the studio this week! The scroll saw is humming, the sanders are dusting, and I’m racing to finish up a few projects before this Saturday. Why the rush? Because our first show of the fall season is almost here — and we’ll be set up at the Indian Summer Festival in Hertford, NC! 🌊🍂
There’s nothing like the buzz before a big event. Each piece I finish feels like checking one more thing off the list — but the to-do list is still full. From hand-staining to layering, every detail counts when it’s going out on display for the first time.
Of course, before the sawdust can settle and the show can begin, there are a few practical steps too. First things first: the car goes in for an oil change tomorrow. Once that’s done, it’ll be time to come home, load up all the artwork, and make sure everything is show-ready for Saturday morning. 🚗✨
It’s always a little wild in the days leading up to a show — busy, busy, busy — but that’s part of the fun. There’s something so rewarding about seeing all the hours of cutting, sanding, and staining come together when people stop by the booth, smile, and connect with the art in person.
So if you’re anywhere near Hertford, NC this Saturday, come find us at the Indian Summer Festival. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season, and I can’t wait to share these new pieces with you all!
