The mooncap mushroom, long associated with hidden networks and unseen worlds, rises beneath a lunar arc while the butterfly marks metamorphosis and passage between states.

Rendered in fire rather than ink, the imagery echoes early naturalist field studies, where observation blended with myth. Each burn line is intentional, preserving the raw edge of the wood and honoring the irregular beauty of organic form.
